The Alabama Psychiatric Physicians Association (APPA) is committed to fostering scholarly growth and professional development among future leaders in psychiatry. This archive features abstracts presented at past APPA conferences by medical students and residents from across Alabama. Each submission represents original research, clinical observation, or innovative thought in the field of psychiatry. By publishing these abstracts, APPA aims to encourage academic engagement, recognize excellence in psychiatric research, and contribute to the advancement of mental health care.

APPA has a spring and fall conference each year, a call for abstracts will be published approximately 2 months before the conference.
